About This Tournament

Pickleplex’s Team Tactics Throwdown (Nov 29–30, 2025) is a two-day MLP-style team pickleball tournament at Pickering’s Pickleplex Social Club with 4-player teams (2 men/2 women, up to 2 spares) competing in women’s, men’s, and two mixed doubles per match, with a Dreambreaker (race to 15) if tied 2–2. Divisions are DUPR 12 (Nov 29; team cap 12.30, max individual 3.60) and DUPR 14 (Nov 30; team cap 14.30, max individual 4.10), using round-robin pool play (8 teams: 2 pools of 4) to semifinals then gold/bronze matches; games to 21 with rally scoring and freeze rules, scores not submitted to DUPR, and registration via CourtReserve by Nov 24 ($300/team of 4; $325 with 1 spare; $350 with 2 spares).
