About This Tournament
Second annual Paddle for Purpose charity doubles tournament (BEL Rotary & Lakefield Community Care; proceeds shared) on Saturday June 6: Open Mixed 8am–12 (sign-in 7:30) plus Open Women’s and Open Men’s 1–5pm (sign-in 12:30). Mixed uses 16 teams in 4 pools of 4 round-robin (1 game to 15) then playoffs for all teams with championship and consolation (2/3 to 11); Men’s and Women’s each have 8 teams in 2 pools of 4 round-robin (1 game to 15) then playoffs for all teams with a championship (2/3 to 11); top 3 prizes in each event and all teams guaranteed 5 matches/games, using Franklin X40 balls and USAP-approved paddles, with lunch available for purchase from the Lakefield Lions food truck.
